Orthodontics, Dr. Ghavamian, DMD, MMSc
Dr. Ghavamian is a specialist in orthodontics for children and adults. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. After a five year doctorate program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and earning her D.M.D. degree, she continued her education at Harvard and completed a three year post doctorate specialty training program in Orthodontics combined with a Master of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Harvard Odontological Society. As the practice owner she is committed to excellence and the goal of providing the highest quality dental care available in the greater Boston area.
General Dentist, Dr. Amirali Fattahi, DMD
Dr. Fattahi graduated from Northeastern University earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with minors in Biology and Business. He went on to study dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D). He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Fattahi has strived to achieve excellence in every step of his education and has graduated in the top of his class throughout his academic history. As a general dentist he has a true passion and commitment for providing uncompromising quality care for all of his patients.
Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Mary Ghattas, BDS, DMD
Dr. Mary Ghattas is a Pediatric Dentist who completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), and her specialty training program in Pediatrics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, she received The Jack and Anne, D75P, Endowed Senior Prize Award in Pediatric Dentistry. She also received her hospital training at Tufts Medical Center and The Franciscan Hospital for Children. Before moving to United States, she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Ain Shams University School of Dental Medicine in Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Ghattas is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She is also the daughter of a Prosthodontist father and a Periodontist mother, and possess 14 years of academic and professional dental experience, all of which will allow her to provide exceptional dental treatment to all her patients.
General Dentist, Dr. Katrina Torres, DMD
Dr. Katrina Torres is a native Bostonian. She is graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Periodontology Selective Certificate. While at Tufts she received recognition from the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Achievement in Clinical Periodontics. Prior to becoming a dentist, she practiced dental hygiene for 10 years. Her experience in the dental field has made her a devoted advocate for preventive dental care.
Periodontist, Dr. Yong Hur, DDS, DMD, MS
Dr. Yong Hur is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Periodontal certification and a Master of Science. Dr. Hur is the dental implant specialist in our practice and collaborates closely with our general dentists and clinical team to plan optimal periodontal care and implant dentistry for our patients.
Endodontist, Dr. George Koch, D.M.D
Dr. Koch is BDS’s root canal specialist. He is a graduate of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and then went on to receive his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Koch believes that root canal treatment should be a quick and pain-free experience. He is committed to providing all of his patients with the highest-quality endodontic care possible!
General Dentist, Dr. Jamie Murphy, D.M.D
Dr. Murphy specializes in general dentistry. After working as a dental hygienist for over 10 years, Dr. Murphy earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Murphy’s primary goal as a dentist is to help her patients maintain both their dental and overall health for a lifetime. She believes in the importance of building relationships and establishing trust with all of her patients, but especially with patients who are fearful of dental treatment. She is dedicated to continually learning new techniques to make a difference in her patient’s lives.
