Zoom! Teeth Whitening

We offer in office whitening treatments to our patients with the Philips Zoom technology. Zoom can achieve dramatic whitening results, up to 8 shades lighter, in just one visit. A typical appointment takes about an hour. We simply apply a safe whitening gel to your teeth and the apply the LED whitening lamp to accelerate the results. Whether you have a special occasion or simply want to reduce discoloration and stains, the Philips Zoom gives you professional results with little or no sensitivity.

Invisalign

Clear, customized aligners can be used to shift teeth to make a more aesthetically pleasing smile. The aligners are digitally designed to gradually reposition your teeth and they are practically invisible so you can wear them comfortably even during the day. No one will know you are straightening your teeth except for you and your dentist! Invisalign is a great orthodontic option for adult patients and can have a huge impact on the appearance of your smile.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a surgical replacement for the root or roots of a tooth. Like tooth roots, dental implants are secured in the jawbone and are not visible once they are placed. They are to base used to secure crowns which look and feel just like your natural teeth. They can also be used to secure bridgework or dentures. Over the last 25 years dental implants have become a valued and accepted treatment option for patients who wish to permanently replace missing teeth.

Bonding

If you or your child chips, cracks or even breaks a tooth we can correct minor damage by applying a tooth-colored filling material to cover the issue. Bonding is not as effective as porcelain veneers, but it can be used to improve the color and appearance of stained or discolored teeth. It can also be used to temporarily improve the appearance of peg lateral incisors. Bonding can be an intermediate step to improving the appearance of these teeth until you are ready for a more comprehensive and long lasting restorations such as veneers or crowns.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are designed to correct damaged, broken or cracked teeth and made of natural looking tooth colored porcelain. The design, creation, and fitting of a traditional crown takes place over two visits. We will clean and remove decay from the damaged tooth, take an impression to capture the shape and size we need for the crown. This is called crown prep. You are then fitted with a temporary crown before you leave the first appointment while your permanent crown is made off site in a dental lab. A few weeks later, at your second appointment, your completed crown is placed onto the tooth, adjusted for fit and look, and then permanently cemented into place. Crowns can prolong the life and health of the damaged tooth.

Veneers

Porcelain veneers are made of a thin layer of tooth colored porcelain customized to modify the shape and color of your teeth. They are the cosmetic treatment of choice for teeth that are in good condition, but may be discolored, poorly shaped, or chipped. The veneer is internally etched and then bonded to the enamel of your teeth. A small amount of your tooth surface must be removed to make room for the porcelain veneer and to avoid making your teeth look bulky or oversized. Unlike a crown or cap tooth prep for veneers is limited to the enamel. Our doctors can use porcelain veneers to improve the appearance of your smile, by closing gaps between, improving shape and color of your teeth all at the same time!
