Financing Options for your Dental Care at Brookline Dental Specialists

How to Afford the Treatment You Need!

Our patients are encouraged to pursue the best preventive and proactive dental health care we can offer in our practice. Effective care in our office includes annual maintenance and cleaning with a dental hygienist and exams with the dentist. Untreated cavities and tooth decay can be painful and eventually lead to bigger dental problems and even more serious health issues, like heart problems.

Dental visits are just as important as visits to your physician—you don’t want to put them off for too long. Skipping your visit to the dentist because of cost can put your or your family’s health at risk. Your medical insurance plan will not include dental work, and if dental insurance is offered at your place of employment, it comes with a separate cost and set of rules for coverage. Even with dental insurance, there are no guarantees it will cover the entire cost of all the recommended treatment you may need.

We are very happy to work with you in our office and find options that are the best fit for you in order to pay for dental treatment if it is not covered by your insurance. Here are some of the ways we can help!

BDS Dental Membership Plans

Contact-less payment
Our patients have the option to cover the cost of their care with our BDS dental care membership plan. We have several customized care packages that include the preventive care you will need all covered by an annual subscription fee. The membership plan is not dental insurance, no claims are filed and no payments are made to outside health care providers. Once your annual fee is paid to our office directly, you are entitled to the dental benefit membership program for 12 consecutive months. This includes your preventive care and a discount on most recommended treatment you may need.

Third-Party Patient Financing Options:

Care Credit

Paying a bill on a weekly or monthly basis broken out over a longer payment period is much more manageable for most people than paying it in a lump sum. In our office, we can help you discover a flexible payment plan for the cost of procedures not covered by insurance. Our patient care experts have lots of experience finding a plan that works for you and your budget.

Patient financing works very much like a car loan or a mortgage. There is a term, a monthly fee, and some interest for the credit amount you qualify for toward the cost of your treatment.

Using CareCredit for Dental Financing

Maintaining good dental health can not only improve your appearance and confidence — but it can also have a big impact on your overall health and wellness. At Brookline Dental Specialists we provide CareCredit patient financing as an easy and convenient way to pay for your dental care with us. You can qualify for affordable credit options to cover the cost of everything from routine teeth exams and cleanings to cosmetic dental procedures, dental implants, and orthodontics.

Managing the expense of your treatment with CareCredit is similar to financing a car loan or the mortgage loan you use to buy your home. Making monthly payments that are within your budget can make recommended treatment more affordable and accessible. CareCredit helps you pay for out-of-pocket dental care expenses for you and your family. Once you are approved, you can use your credit for all dental costs not covered by insurance. CareCredit is different from a regular credit card and special financing options are available that you may not be able to get with other cards.

Your Pre-Tax Health Savings Account (HSA)

The funds in your HSA can be used for any medical or dental procedure. An HSA gives you the ability to put pre-tax money into your account each month that you can then use for medical expenses. This helps lower your overall health care costs because it is pre-taxed money. If you do not already have an HSA, be sure to check with your employer to see if this option is available to you in your benefits plan. Since most dental care is an eligible expense, patients may decide to use the money in their HSA to help pay for any co-pays or dental procedures they need.

Be sure to ask your provider about patient financing, or our membership plan next time you are in the office. Our treatment coordinator would be happy to meet with you to go offer all the options you have in our office!
